Terms of Use for SportsVault

Welcome to SportsVault! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms: By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration: To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. League Management and Payment Processing: SportsVault allows users to create and manage fantasy leagues, collect league dues, and distribute prize funds. All payment transactions are handled by third-party payment processors. SportsVault does not store payment card details and is not responsible for payment processing delays or issues.
5. Fund Handling: Funds collected through the Platform are securely held until the end of the fantasy season, as determined by league configuration. Funds are released to designated recipients based on pre-set rules and agreements within each league.
6. Refund policy: SportsVault issues refunds made prior to the league payment deadline. After the league's payment deadline, all refund requests must first be approved by your league commissioner. Users requesting a refund should use the contact form on the Help page.
7. User Responsibilities: You agree not to:
   
   • Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
   • Use the Platform for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes;
   • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
   • Transmit malicious software or code;
   • Attempt to access data or systems without authorization.
     
8. Termination of Access: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the Platform or its users.
9. Intellectual Property: All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of SportsVault or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content from the Platform without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability: The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." SportsVault makes no warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
11. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SportsVault, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms: We may modify these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Platform after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York, USA without regard to its conflict of law principles.
